The 6m corner clam strap was a quick and economical solution for making picture frames. The design is good and while the plastic materials on the main section appeared vulnerable to breaking it performed quite well. As my frame material was narrower than the plastic corners i needed to ensure that the frames pieces were centered to avoid skewing the frame and opening up the 45-degree cuts on one side. Having discovered this, it produced a very good result.

But just be a little more careful. Yes, I do recommend this product. I have used them in the past to hold items of furniture, both large and small, together. Excellent. The length of the strap and the angle brackets did what other clamps we had on hand, couldn't do. Yes it is good value for money. My concern is - is it of good value. The reason I purchased another pair is because ONE of the first pair broke. The handle broke off the clamp, but it was good enough in use for me to consider it worthwhile to replace it. What I will do is read the instructions more thoroughly and follow them. in case it was me that caused the break. The bookcases either side of the desk were held by the clamps.
