These capos don't grip on to your guitar's headstock when you aren't using them but once you adjust the tension (very easy) they work perfectly every time without a need to retune. They slap right on and work unlike a lot of the other designs which can be hard to prise and can ruin the tuning. This model is also made for 12 string guitars which is handy for me. I have two now and wouldn't be without them.
