My kids love it !!!
My kids have 'slinky apples' at school everyday Just soak the peeled and cored apple in 4 cups of water to 1 teaspoon of salt for 5 minutes - rinse and wrap in gladwrap - no brown apples :) Very good quality So easy to use and quick !!!

Complete rubbish.
I’ve had a apple peeling machine like this for about 15 years and it works like the day I purchased it. I bought this one for my friends kids as they use my every time they come to my place. It is a piece of rubbish does not stay on the bench with it’s suction pad and will not peel the skin off the apples. Just rubbish.

Great for kids. Great for quick apple prep for Apple Crumble and other recipes. Excellent suction.
Good Suction. I've owned a similar one of these before and this one holds to the bench much better. Product was as described and works well. Peeler sometimes doesn't bite into the apple peel to start peeling first go. If I need the apples peeled I keep trying till it does or cut off the bit of peel with a knife after I've finished slinkying the apple. I highly recommend this product if you have kids. I used my first one for years. Slinky. 5 apples and you have a quick, easy, cheap and healthy fruit platter for a play date. I always came home with an empty platter. The kids primary school tuckshop had one too and it was a hit with the kids. Free service with BYO apple or provided with apples they sold. Once my kids were mid teens, I gave mine away to a relative with young kids. They use it every day! I then wanted to make quick and easy apple crumbles and missed it for preparing the apples so bought this one and am very happy with it. I use the Donna Hay Oven Bake Apple Crumble recipe.Read full review

Great gadget
I had to replace my old one because I could not buy a new blade which pissed me off. The new one is exactly the same as my old one but they do a great jod at peeling pears as well as apples.

Not for child use.
This product is not strong. The apples do not progress and as such the peeler digs big holes as it revolves in the same place. Extreme forward force must be applied to get the apple to go through the slicer. The suction works very well.
