Bought this as I was sick of always having to sort out some issue with the Mac 335 petrol chainsaw I have. I only use a chainsaw occasionally and I just want it to work when I pick it up and not have to worry about fuel, etc. I also wanted one I could take away in the caravan to saw up wood for a fire and this will do the job admirably. I can recharge it while I am driving from an inverter as it only takes about 45 mins. I have the 5A/h battery and it runs it for quite a long time havent run out of battery yet. I already had the EGO elecric mower which is absolutely great and works as well as my old petrol mower except now its nice and quiet, This chainsaw works as well as the Mac I reckon and is ideal for occasional use probably not as if you use one for a long time as recharging is longer than refueling and not a good solution in the bush!
