Kevin Costner is a brute who does not know right from wrong. It resulted from a childhood family beating. He is in maximum security and brought out to do a spy job but with a difference. He has an agent's mind inserted into his. Gary Oldman is the spy chief who as usual is not very nice. For some stupid reason they occasionally smack Kevin around the head. Tommy Lee Jones is the scientist who develops the medical side of things. It has an interesting premise of a missing bag of money, the wife of the dead agent, flashbacks due to the brain transfer, a "baddy" who has control of US secrets and who gets to him first ie the real baddy or the goodies. Of course the point of the story is whether Kevin becomes good or stays a maniacal killer. You will have to watch it to find out. It is well acted and Kevin is good in the action role.
