I don't know if it's the: USB Size, its Metallic body/skin, or the Types of files I just transferred to it (large video files) but the speed starts great at 80 MBS write speed, but quickly drops to 20 MBS...but admittedly faster for photo files. Also it is extremely hot to the touch when transferring, unlike other Sandisks I have...so would not recommend or buy again.
