Dirty coins should be cleaned before being immersed in the LINDNER coin cleaner (item no. 8015) to be cleaned. Place the oxidized (tarnished) gold coin individually in the immersion sieve of the cleaning immersion bath and immerse in the liquid. Leave in the sieve for a maximum of 2 minutes. Coated coin tweezers (item no. 2014). This allows the coin to be swung back and forth in the dipping bath until success is achieved. Very badly tarnished coins can be immersed for 3 to 5 minutes. During this time, all oxides are dissolved. In particularly stubborn cases, the dive time can be extended without hesitation. For thorough rinsing, take the immersion sieve with the coin out of the bottle and hold it under running, lukewarm water. Then dry the coin with a soft cloth. Any type of gold coin can.
