I used this to replace a 'blown' power supply in a Optiplex 780. Seemed simple, Replace the power supply - Unplug 4 Plugs, Undo 3 Screws and do the reverse. Tried to 'Boot Up'. Problem - "No Hard Disk Recognized" Error. I could not believe it!! I checked all the connections and they seemed OK. Then I noticed that the SATA Power Plug for the HDD on the New Power Supply was different than the Old Power Supply - The Yellow (12V) and Orange (3.3V) wires were transposed. So I Cut the Plug off the New Supply and Cut the Plug off the Old Supply (leaving about 2 Centimeters) and soldered the Old Plug to the New Supply - Same Colour to same Colour wire. Plugged it back into the HDD and booted the system - Guess what?? - No Problems.

The product was as described and replaced the faulty one that stopped working after all those years. Glad I found the exact product for the computer. Definitely recommend it and would buy again.
