I've owned dozens of headphones over the years but the AKG K92- must be one of the best reference studio headphones I've owned. I work a lot in recording studios all my life and these are just accurate with a wide frequency range for all types of music. The price is also excellent. Get one! No regrets! Just happy!

Excellent sound - very clear and can really pick out all the individual instruments. Perhaps a little light in terms of bass but that is only a minor nitpick. They look quite stylish and are comfortable to wear for long periods. At they end of the day these are excellent value for money and I will consider picking up a second pair.

Cable is too flimsy. My experience with cheaper AKG headphones than these is that the cables fail. I had hoped the more expensive model would have a more durable cable. The headset looks prettier, but that won't help much.

For the price these AKG K92 headphones are really fantastic. So comfortable to wear as they self adjust, but can get a bit sweaty as they are over ear. (I live in the tropics so it might not be a problem in cooler climates) Anyway, the thing that strikes me most is the sound. Deep punchy bass, good midrange and high frequency response. They are so well balanced they match my studio monitors almost exactly. A great buy if you can’t afford a high price!
