I've recently purchased the first version of the Magic trackpad (again) as my other one warped and lost the rubber stopper on the bottom. I'd have preferred the new sleek version which looks like a better design but the extra $100 just didn't seem worth it. The only problem I have with this one is the loud clicking required to make things happen. The touch pad on the machine needs only a light touch...this seems to require a firm click? Good for scrolling but right click is a little difficult to access consistently.

As I have an older iMac, I can’t get the new OS updates. You need the updates to run the Magic Trackpad 2, but I wanted an original trackpad. That’s what this is and it’s in good condition. I’m happy with this.

I love it and use it all the time especially use it with Safari. Although it is not a newest trackpad, but I think battery is easier than recharge one.
