Works like a good chamois should work. It absorbs a significant amount of water from the surface of the car and doesn't leave streaks. If the chamois happens to touch a dirty patch on the car, washing in soapy water removers the dirty mark easily, resulting in a clean chamois again. This is my second chamois from Aion Plas and it is fantastic. They will last for years. They're nice and thin but very absorbent. Other synthetic brands, like Armor-all are very thick and that makes them hard to hard to squeeze dry. Easy to keep clean too. I just throw it in the washing machine every few uses and put it away in the canister slightly damp.
