Needing to replace our old oil filled column heater I knew that column heaters were the way to go. After some research I found this one to meet all the requirements I had. Easy to use display (my last one needed a massive manual to simply operate the digital display), and warms up quickly and efficiently. The eco function is very handy - it will cut down the power used to maintain the temperature you have set.

It heat up the room pretty quick and it is very quiet. Sometime it make some cracking noise but rarely. It alway turn it self off , I am not sure why. If have remote control then I can just turn it back on with the remote.

Heater is easy to use and set via the control panel. It could be better with a remote control. It does take a good 15-30 minutes to heat up a small to medium size room. As with any column heater the surface gets hot as temperature is increase. So if you have young children, you need to be cautious of this.
