Has your Garmin computer started to loosen when fitted to your mount?  If yes is the answer then the original mount has been worn down with use and this insert will fix that.  By replacing the worn insert with this new one the hold of the computer will be solid and tight as it once one. Some of these Garmin computers are super expensive so its always best to ensure that it has tight and secure hold onto the handlebar or top cap mount.
