Pump is good but is a bit on the louder side. On full it doesn't take long to warm up ( case temp ) and on medium flow it's still noisy just a deeper sound. If you can get past the noise it's a good pump and does what it's supposed to and hopefully will last

Get the Tetra Whisper 300 instead.
This pump was quite noisy out of the box and after a few weeks it began to walk around due to excessive vibration. One of the air outlets completely failed at the 5 week mark and I was forced to replace it. I got the tetra whisper 300 pump instead and it's so much better, far quieter and has a unique dome shape to reduce noise and vibration. It also has greater capacity. I'm really happy with my upgrade, just disappointed to have to outlay more cash only 5 weeks after purchasing the aqua one brand. It's never easy to return things bought online so don't waste your time with this inferior and noisy product. I might be the exception based on other reviews, maybe I just got a lemon and the rubbers failed, but if you look up reviews of the tetra brand product it's got the aqua one product beat hands down in every department.Read full review

This unit works very well and it is very quiet weather it be on low, med. or high and has enough power (volume ) for our 6' tank . I highly recommend this unit at this time and the only thing I don't know at time is how long this unit will last but I think and hope I will get a long life out of this machine !!!!

A pump that works
I had the same product for 7 years but age caught up with it + the fact so am using the pump in an outdoor pond. So decided for a similar new one, plugged it in and it worked like a dream, ordered it and within less than a week I had it In my pond, for 32$ what more can you ask for😁
