The operating range and sensitivity is not as good as the original Marantec product, have to be closer to the base unit, but it does the job and the price is significantly cheaper. Too early to gauge longevity but I’m hopeful of at least a couple of years (the original ones lasted more than 15 years). I needed after sales service to get the remotes up and running (partly product, partly me) but support was provided promptly and respectfully by Jared. The instructions (when followed) are exceptionally easy, although the back to back syncing didn’t work for me, I had to do end to end and it took a couple of goes.

Not what I thought I ordered, I thought i had ordered my original garage door remote which is stated clearly in the ads description title, however gave this hybrid a go and found it easy to program with the Gargage Door but cannot get the second button to program with the remote gate. Buttons are very small on the remote, which probably would not suit large fingers.

Unfortunately out of the two remotes supplied only one would program to open or close the garage door. This was after following all the programming instructions and changing the battery. The remote which does work is fine. Just a pity I needed two.
