A lone time traveler from the year 2035 must solve a riddle that may save his people... but it may also take him to the brink of madness. 12 Monkeys is undisciplined pseudo science-fiction failure
An awful movie, redeemed only by the performance of Brad Pitt as a lunatic. Terry Gilliam was clearly floundering as he tried to make the tangled plot lines believable and this lack of discipline in his direction was borne out by the documentary on the making of the film that was part of the dvd. Definitely not Bruce Willis's finest hour.
