Great origin to one of the most iconic superheroes of the past century!! Smallville has great character story arcs, thrills, action, and suspense!! Not to mention every time you think Clark Kent would get close in accidentally revealing his true identity, a fun and cleaver twist prevents that from happening! Great tenth season and entire series as a whole!

Excellent series and a great story of parenting styles and how nurture vs nature can have profound impact on the raising a moral and motivated adult. It's all done with enough reference to many DC characters to entertain a variety of audiences while still teaching about helping to raise a child from childhood to adulthood. Action, comedy and romance with a heavy dose of moral conflict and resolution. All around a five star series. 😃

Clark Kent finally reaches his destiny in this final season of the much talked series. What begun as a bad teen drama with sci fi touches every now and then, finally concludes in the way as it should. Along the way, Clark will meet some old faces (both friendly and hostile), has to overcome his doubts and the doubts of his surroundings and finally must defeat one of his greatest adversaries. My only dislike about this, is the fact that we do not see Superman enough and NOT FULLY. Anyway, the final episode, beyond the lucking of the big blue, really deserves some credits!
I have to say this is the most intense of all the seasons, almost every episode was jam packed full of action, intensity, heroes & villans... I consider that putting so much into this season did kind of take away from episodes in certain ways, like cutting scenes short, or allowing bad guys to be beaten too easily, 'n' yet I understand, & still enjoyed every minute of this show... the final episode could have had a little more fight between Clark & Darkseid, but I really liked how they finished giving Clark the suit, & glimpses of him as Superman... we do get to see him in full suit, I felt in the last scene Clark was a little awkward ripping open his shirt, & the camera didn't do the close up quite close enough, but... the last part of the episode had me feeling like I did when I was younger watching the Christopher Reeves' Superman, that adrinaline pumping can't take my eyes off the screen, this is the heroe I imagined feeling... I didn't really even get that feeling when I watched Superman Returns, although it was great for what it was, & Kevin Spacey as Luthor was awesome, it just wasn't, I don't know, something... when Smallville first began I had a hard time relating Tom Welling to actually being Superman, but now, after this season, I can see him flying the Red, Yellow, & Blue, He gave this interpretation the essence of Superman by the time of it's end... I would watch Tom Welling as Superman if they made a movie... although three seasons ago I wouldn't have said that, now I believe they came full circle with the journey of Clark becoming Superman... my hat's off to them, there's always things that could be done better with everything, but all in all, as Superman fans go, this is the best of Smallville, & an important addition to any collection... Thank you God Bless...Read full review
I was born in 1951, and in my early years I discovered the Superman television series. I loved it. The thought in my young mind that there could be someone out there looking over us all made things seem better. I never really read comic books, but that didn't keep me from believing that there was good in most of us. I was helping operate my sister's theatre when Superman The Movie came out, and though we had only one screen we got it three weeks before the big theatre in the city, so we were proud. I caught some of Lois and Clark of the television, and it was good. I seriously got interested in the Smallville series, because I was able to slow down enough to spend time watching it. When I discovered there was a 10th season that had never been aired, I had already purchased the first 9 seasons, and gotten my daughter addicted to the series. We spent a great deal of time watching, and rewatching those together. We even have all the superman movies form onr time spent on eBay. And I am going to get the Supergirl movie as well. I feel our online purchases of this series has been fun, and we loved them all. Would we buy again...oh yes...you see, my daughter has no idea that there was a series called Lois and Clark!Read full review
