I compared this filter with one purchased from a major Toyota dealer in Adelaide, and there appears to be no difference, and also I weighed them both and compared the two, using the three units(filters) I purchased, and only found an average difference in weight of 3 grams which is of no significance I think. My conclusion is that they appear to be the genuine article and should work fine.
