This knife sharpener is dead easy to use, safe to use with a bit of commonsense and does an excellent job. Care is needed on handling components as with rough handling, I suspect they may break. The ceramic stones have the ability to hone the blade you are sharpening to razor sharpness after getting an initial edge from the coarser stones. Overall, I like the concept as it is hard to get anything wrong when sharpening a knife or whatever.
