Solid product. Works well in most soil types.
Solid piece of kit. I used it on the weekend in even heavy clay soil and it worked like a champion. Will get jammed in heavy soil and serious caution should be taken in these circumstances not to get it stuck. Rips through decent ground with ease. I wouldn't suggest using it on a regular drill unless you were only working in very light soils and it doesn't fit into a standard drill fitting, but on a heaver drill with an adapter to suit the size of the tool it works very well. Well priced and good gear. Would recommend

Solid product, but with weaknesses
Very solid product, but doesn't not fit a 10mm chuck easily. Needs a 13mm chuck. Struggles with clay, and more suited to powered drill, rather than battery for clay soils. However, it does goes through softer soils very quickly and extracts dirt from the hole. Needs the end to have flatter pieces so doesn't spin in drill. That said, would recommend for softer soils, and planting small plants.

Does the job well.
After day one, I'm happy. It's drilling good pilot holes for a larger hand auger to make easy work. Note... Had to grind a hexagon into the end for gripping into the drill chuck - it was slipping under load. Also, 18v drill was getting overworked - be careful running for long stints. Excellent value all round...

Garden auger power drill
This is a good product and make life easier to dig hole in garden. Be caution to run at slow speed and pull dirt out from time to time so the drill does not stuck in dirt and may twist your wrist. So far so good, prefer hexagon cut on auger end attached to drill chuck for better holding.

The product is tough on my 18 v battery drill. I will only use it in future with my 240 V drill Works as expected. I would like to have seen the hardened cutting tip a tad larger

My new favourite garden tool.
Great for turning compost, planting and even managed post holes (although a little undersized for the latter). Could be improved with a hexagonal drill bit end to prevent slippage, but this is not a major issue.

So I was excited to receive this item as we were doing our garden beds. Definitely recommend for plant holes even gets through clay. Does flick dirt around . Not great for digging post holes if u hit a rock u can damage your wrist as it jar s your hand if not careful. Otherwise love it for soft dirt vegie digging.
