Seems sturdy timber with anodized fasteners. Stain and clear top coat appear durable. The chair was surprisingly easy to put together. Instructions are in ching-lish but diagrams are easy to follow. Only 4 main pieces, seat , back, both wheel sides. Once together the back is a comfortable angle. The seat height is good. The wheel sides are sturdy to lift out of chair. Overall, very pleased.
