Nicely made product compact with big features of data tracking through the app however there is no way to mount it on a wall, I have used blue tack which is not ideal but seems to work unless it gets too hot and falls off. However overall very happy

Good when it works, but mostly doesn't update temperature to the receiver
The first item I received stopped syncing after 1 day of use, for no obvious reasons. It then started showing random temperatures on the pool thermometer itself. Inkbird official seller was happy to send me a replacement, which I've used for the past 1 month. My verdict is that it is great when it is working. However, I am seeing the receiver unit show dashes "--" most of the time when I look at it, which means no data was received from the pool thermometer. If I take the pool thermometer out of the water, and the temperature changes, I see the blue light flash almost immediately, and the receiver is updated with the temperature. I believe there might be some logic in the pool unit itself (possibly for battery saving reasons) whereby it will not send a signal if the temperature has not changed (or does not change much). Because my water temperature is fairly steady, this is resulting in a blank display on the receiver most of the time. Maybe if it just showed the most recently received temperature (and an indicator that it is out of date), that would solve the problem. Or the pool thermometer just needs to send regular updates. Sadly, battery life is still poor, and the 2xAAA batteries were dry after 1 month use. This is the only product on the market I've seen that comes close to delivering a wireless pool thermometer. The pool thermometer unit itself seems to be quite accurate. However, it is let down by poorly programmed logic, which essentially defeats the wireless capability. Read full review

Simple and easy to use
This little gadget is great, simple and easy to use. Install the battery and download the app and you are ready to go. Set up your app so that Bluetooth connects only while the app is in use, as this will save your battery. The unit logs data on its own and the app reads it.
