We actually bought two of these, one for the house, and one for our fifth wheeler. We have had a smaller version of digital in and out thermometer for many years by a different maker and it was starting to fail, so went looking for a replacement. We are both getting on in years and the larger display on these thermometers is great making it really easy to read the display. Also it was a really simple matter to remove the old one and fit the new one. The outside sensor is mounted under our rear deck, in the airflow from under our house, and the inside unit is on the inside of our kitchen wall above the bench.
