An easy install for anyone unfamiliar with these kinds of mods. If you're looking for something to casually replace the traditional thumbstick of the N64 for some Mario Kart, Mario Party, Smash 64 this will make a good replacement. However, if you're a more serious player I'd recommend going the pricier route and investing in a Horipad Mini which is a third party controller. The thumbstick will do the job just fine but feels 'off' in a way that's rather hard to explain. Again though, if you're casually playing to relive memories of games like Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie this is going to do the job just fine for you.

This stick is good for a few reasons but overall bad for many others and the bad outshines the good here, it is a good quality stick that probably wont wear out for a long time, it is responsive and works for a replacement, it is good for some games and bad for others, it is good for racing games like mario kart but terrible for games such as goldeneye where precision aiming controls are required, i use this stick to play mario kart and super mario 64 but for shooter games where aiming is required like perfect dark i would not recommend to use this, the problem is in the sensitivity of the movement its waaay too sensitive and makes it very difficult to aim and to play, certain games are better then others, it depends on the kind of game and the controls. Overall it is a good replacement, but now that i have bought it and used it in a controller, i only really use it for mario kart, super mario 64 and yoshis story.
