Bread box great, bread board not required
The bread box is beautiful timber however we have had to pull the attached bread cutting board off it as its too thick and takes up too much to wgen you close the lid/door that nothing fits with it on there which means the lid/door doesn't close properly. Has been great since we removed it!

The door is short of the sides, it is not insect proof, the box has a very strong smell, the bread takes on the smell and it dose not keep the bread fresh in any way. I have had to throw out every loaf of bread I have put in it, because of smell, the bread has also gone stale and mouldy. I would not recommender this bread box.

well made, but ugly back
The box is lovely wood in the front, but it has ugly plywood on the back. Such a shame. I have it on an island bench so the back is clearly visible.
