Used this pump to replace 20year old water maid unit on my pool. Wanted something cheap as I don’t think we will have the pool for a long time in the future. Was fairly compact and fit in my current pump box. Was able to modify mounting height and outlet pipe work and leave inlet side as per original and it works nicely. Little bit worried I may not be able to buy a suitable replacement basket if needed. But for the money it works well, is quiet and was easy to get going in my application.

This pump is very low quality. Extremely noisey with whining motor. Fittings are all non standard for 40mm pressure pipe. Spent hours and money to get it fitted and will have to replace it with a quality pump. Don’t buy this product.

Clearly well made. Easy to install and now that it has been operational for 10 days... hasn't missed a beat. A point to note is that it was WIDER than what I had previously and this appears due to the design of the pump component. I see this as a plus since the larger pump has slightly increased the water flow. I ended up relocating the unit to the other side of the large sand filter. There was minor remaking the outlet plumbing but easy to achieve. Very happy with the end result.

I bought this pump for my 77,000 litre pool. It works well for this size. Its also very quiet. As for postage I ordered it on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday. I'd definitely buy one again if I needed to.

It's not bad and will replace most pumps but the plumbing fittings are different from regular Australian pool pumps. You will need a plumber to change your fittings over but after that you are saving money in the long run. I get about 4 years out of these pumps before replacing and then that's still over 500 cheaper then the Aus pumps that are of better quality but are very expensive. I now just swap out the pump by myself now that the plumbing on the pool has been changed over for that pump.

Pump pipe fittings are not Australian standard , was a real problem to fit. Eventually had to use a non pressure pipe elbow with a male and female end, hoping it won't blow-out because its not a pressure pipe fitting .
