This is the 3rd cover I’ve bought in 7 years. They last just over a year before they start splitting and tearing. Really they are just thick plastic. But I figure for the price it’s worth it as the proper canvas ones are very expensive like $3000 and only have a warranty of a few years

If you’re looking for a cover that will last, this is not the one. I was initially impressed with its fit, it was waterproof, taught, and easily adjustable. But within a year my cover suffered a major tear, with the fabric failing in the middle, not along a seam. I made contact about the cover failing within its 12 month warranty but was told “The boat cover has a certain service life” and “the fabric will be easily torn due to the aging of the fabric.” So it appears the material is not UV stable, even though mine is in the shade half the time from surrounding trees. And their 12 month warranty counts for nothing it appears.
