Seth MacFarlane, creator and primary voice actor behind Family Guy, presents his new animated series. More overtly political than Family Guy while every bit as gleefully offensive, American Dad stars the ultra-conservative and ultra-stupid CIA operative Stan Smith (MacFarlane), his inexplicably devoted wife Francine (Wendy Schaal), rebellious hippie daughter Hayley (Rachael MacFarlane) and sex-starved teenage son Steve (Scott Grimes). Rounding off the family are a super intelligent, German-accented goldfish and an effeminate, hard drinking alien named Roger. American Dad is a broad but witty satire of the post-9/11 American neo-conservative movement.
