This is a fantastic product. I put a larger TV in the bedroom but it made the switch for the ceiling fan difficult to access, so when I saw this product I couldn't resist. I already had a couple of Grid Connect products which have been good and that meant I already had their app on my devices. So far it works flawlessly. I mounted the remote on the wall near the light switch (i had the remote put into the fan by an electrician though) as the original switch was disabled by the electrician, I think you can leave the switch active but it needs to be on all the time so that the grid connect device can then control the light and if the original switch gets switched to off you lose the remote control, so we thought it best to disable it and the fan control so that there is no confusion. I flick the light or fan on/off from the remote on the wall as I enter or leave the room and from my phone or ipad when in bed. This device also added a timer for the fan which is something I didn't have before. Price was great and the seller shipped quickly. Read full review
