Living near the beach, my bike chain had started to show some surface rust after a couple of months. I used Boeshield to lubricate and protect the chain, derailleurs, spoke nipples and any other unpainted part (brake discs excluded, of course). I even gave the painted surfaces a very light wipe over and wipe off. Boeshield leaves an invisible and long-lasting protective coat. The chain looks brand new again and I believe that my bike will last much longer if I use this product every few months.

I've been using this Boeshield T9 now for quite a long time, well over 5 years, and it is just awesome. If you want a lube that keeps your drive train clean and muck free, in conjunction with a regular cleaning regime, this is the product to use. Goes on wet, one drop per link, and dries to leave a clear coating that doesn't attract road grime and other crud. Not so easy to get in Australia, but good value as it lasts for ages. For context, I clean my drive train every 2-3 weeks with a chain scrubber and lube the chain every 200km. I'm getting about 7000 km from a chain (Ultegra), but I'm also pretty fastidious in replacement to extend drive train life.

Good for broader use. Applied as thin film on good tool surfaces to prevent surface rust in high humidity conditions. Effective and very easy to use and 'a little goes a long way'. Savings present in terms of not having to regularly use emery and other oils to polish and maintain items.

My favorite bike chain lube. Apply to a clean, dry chain. Leave it for at least 2 hours or overnight. Then wipe as much off as you can. The best!
