I use this as a Keyboard stand for a small Nord Electro 5. I was looking for something I could strap flat to my Keyboard case. I had used an X stand, which is lighter, but doesn't fold flat. This stand is compact and does fold quite small and flat. Its main drawback is its "built to a price" from mild steel which is pretty heavy gauge, presumably to get the strength. Would be better from a material with better strength to weight - but I suppose carbon fiber pricing might limit it market a bit. Good value, does the job, less vertical wobble than an X stand (similar side to side movement though), folds flat, a bit heavy.
