Not sure if unlucky but glass ripped right through my set after only one or two rides. Multiple Flat results. Not very happy with the puncture protection at all and i've had to since replace the rear already.

I found the Giant tubes supplied to be too long, they folded length wise to fit in, haven't seen this before. I know the specification for 27x1 1/4" to be 630x32 which is 25mm longer in circumference, this is probably the explanation. So to specify that the tube to be compatible with 622x28-32 is a real problem.

A Good value All-rounder Road Tyre
This tyre is good value and has performed well for me in commuting on good roads. It may be just good luck, but in about a month I have had had no punctures - and I normally seem to attract punctures about once a week or fortnight on cheaper tyres. The tyres seem well made and roll well for a wider tyre. They were a little fiddly to centre properly on the rim when installed, and I had to let them down, adjust them a bit and pump them up a couple of times before the bead was even on the rim. Overall, I like these tyres and I am very happy with their performance as a commuter tyre. The tubes seem a little ordinary, and even said "standard' on the box. Truth in advertising! One blew as I approached 100PSI with, what looked like a split in a seam, (not a puncture). I replaced this tube, but the other has worked perfectly over the month.Read full review
