I used this hammer for many years for automotive use.It won’t damage threads on axles.The Thor Copper hammer is a must have tool for every mechanic,workshop or industry.The Copper is soft enough to prevent thread damage but lasts for a very long time.New Copper refills can be fitted in place in the hammer head when they get badly damaged though this one will last me a decade or longer.A fantastic product and well made.I thoroughly recommend this product to everyone.
