Merlin is original & Original is best!
After losing one of the original remotes I replaced it with a fancy 4 button remote which had low reception & flattened the battery I purchased an original for an extra $10 & would recommend anyone with a Merlin door opener to stick to Merlin original.

I order this remote from another supplier which arrived within 24-48 hours of my placing the order. I missed placed my previous order and need to order it again. This one took a week to get to me, not recommend for anyone that want it in a hurry.

Easy to code.
Easy to code and easy to use. I can't say anything negative about this product. But I can say do it yourself as it is very easy to code for a Merlin garage door motor. Sadly I didn't know this last year when I needed a second device - the company that installed the garage door charged me $130 to code a second device. So $130 - $40 = $90 for a minutes work (The guy was already there to service the door which was incorrectly installed).

I bought two openers for an elderly friend. they looked the part, were very easy to tune into the garage door opener but unfortunately one has a weak opening slide that caused it to fall off. other than that they work well & are a good price.

Works OK but cover needs redesign.
The slide cover falls off after only short time of use, the unit still works fine but the concealing cover is fragile and needs redesign. I have bought several of these units and every one has lost it slide on cover, shame.
