Good product for the price. It is really cheap, so you can't expect a premium product, but it was easy to install, and after two months, is still performing flawlessly. The buttons are all plastic, not metal like the original component, so probably won't last as long, but the range hood is getting old now anyway, and by the time these butons break, I'm sure I'll be wanting a new rangehood.

The new switch doesn't come with wiring so I had to pull the loom out of the existing switch (my old switch had broken plastic mounting which is only reason I had to replace) and connect to new switch. Bit fiddly but the new switch works fine so far. I can't rate the quality effectively as I won't know how strong the new plastic mounts are for some time . I only got 7 years out of old plastic case so hopefully this beats that. Overall, this new switch is pretty expensive for what it is. This is why I have said it is not good quality as it looks pretty flimsy for something over $40 and doesn't come with wiring loom
