The method used to set out the learning is fairly straight forward. Begins with tune with two strings (high E and B), the adds tunes with 3 strings (adds G) then 4, 5 and 6. Later in the book it adds sharps and flats and more complicated tunes. Only draw back is the online learning, I found it difficult to follow the on-line music play along lessons. The music scrolls left to right then and to the start on the left hand side. I had trouble when it restarted on the left. Overcame this be using the book to follow the notes while listening to the play along. Would recommend buying the book 1 supplement as well, gives more tunes to play and more opportunity to prefect the lessons.
