The pump is brushless so it will last a long time. Pump is very powerful when the solar panel is in full sun and looks amazing in the middle of our fish pond. As the pump has suction cups on the bottom i fitted it to a piece of perspex I had in the shed before it went in the pond. Very pleasant to sit out the back now and watch this water fountain in its glory. Just remember people...no sun ...no water fountain as the pump relies on the solar panel for its power as there is no battery backup to keep pump working.

Easy install. Direct sunlight essential will not operate on a dull day. Amount of water pressure will vary depending on how much sunlight it gets...can vary from a trickle to a flow. Highly doubt the claims of pumping 60 lpm - more like 10. There is no on off switch. Either unplug or cover the panel over - highly inconvenient if panel is on roof or hidden. But overall its ok for a small fountain.

I can highly recommend this pump for water gardens. Using solar it's not costing the Earth...literally, so by using this in the pond you're really helping nature out! The panel doesn't seem to be plastic coated but glass so I expect to get many years out of it.
