This camera has a great zoom, particularly if you do not want to mess around with huge lens; It is easy to use and the point and shoot features make it easy to capture almost anything. It has many settings that are easily selected. This was supposed to be an upgrade from the P900 but it doesn't appear to do anything beyond the previous model (as I have both). It is excellent for bird photography although don't expect to get clear close ups from 50 metres. The further away your subject, the less clarity you will get, this being the nature of the zoom. For the average person, this is a great camera that saves you carrying around a variety of lenses and is great for travelling.
