The invasion, I bought The Invasion as I liked both of the actors, but I was disappointed. The plot was slow and dragged out. The actors played their parts well, especially Nicole Kidman.She portrayed a mother afraid for her child and trying to stay awake so she isn't taken over by some alien virus or beings that are controlling most of the population very believably, and the boy playing her son was very good. But somehow it did not make me want to watch it again in a hurry. No doubt I will sometime, I am a scifi , fantasy and Mystery fan, but this just didn't appeal to me, although this is my view, someone else may love it. To its credit, the acting was very good and what happened near the end was unexpected.But other than that, it wasn't the best plot I have seen.
