Leatherman has always been synonymous with quality, build strength and longevity in their product manufacture and design, and even though this piece is simple, it ticks all those boxes. For those of us who use their Charges, Waves and Surges, etc. on a daily basis, this little extender is a must. A great addition to the Leatherman kit (especially with the extra bit kits). If my arm were twisted I'd have to say that the product (like all Leatherman products) is on the expensive side for what it does, but then again, you get what you pay for. Personally, I'm willing to pay a bit extra when it comes down to it. I've owned the same Charge TI for over 8 years now, and it's outlasted and outperformed any other multi I've owned! On the face of it, this is a useful product. However, in use, it is far from that (at least in my case). The bit holder contains a small circlip intended to prevent bits from falling out. This works fine on the Leatherman rectangular bits, but when used with hexagonal ones it is far too tight. Bits cannot be removed by hand. Instead, I need to use the pliers on the Leatherman tool to remove them (and that still requires a lot of force). Why not just provide a magnetized holder instead Leatherman?
