For anyone who makes sauce or Passata this is an essential item. Much quicker and saves on labour (than forcing the sauce through a sieve or colander). Mine didn't come with instructions, so it took a bit of mucking about to figure out the way it works (tip - the sieve goes in rough side up) but once I got that worked out I was very happy. Much less waste and much less work. I don't know if it's dishwasher safe but I'd rather wash it by hand anyway. I did a bit of research online before I bought this and I wasn't disappointed - good price and excellent quality.

Good product, easy to use and clean. Only thing is the handle doesn't wrap right around and can feel the gap underneath, but not a real problem.

It has served its intended pupose admirably; I consider it a little over-priced but I was prepared to to pay extran to consciously AVOID buying articles "Made In China"
