Good But Not Great.
Surprisingly good quality product for the price. For amateurs and gardeners it will do the job. The one drawback to the product is the design. I was suspicious about the idea of linking a series sections together because I was sure there would be too much flexing in the shaft. I was right. With all sections added it bends so much it is very hard to put any pressure on whatever you are cutting. Also needs two people to hold and operate it unless you are dead vertical. With less sections in use it is okay. If you understand the saws limitations it is worth having.

When these were first released about 5 years ago..the quality was good..I have bought 3 of these over this period the last one purchased broke in the first 10 minutes of use..the alloy being used (shaft housing) is rubbish. The engines are good everything else is junk.

I've had this pole chainsaw for three years and use it semi-regularly. It's never let me down, always starts first time and doesn't baulk at hard work. I'm very happy with it, and it only has two downsides: 1. it's a little heavy, but hey, that's the price for a powerful machine; and 2. at full extension of the pole, you have to be careful not to bend the shaft - this hasn't happened to me yet, but it seems to be a real risk due to the way the thing flexes. So I'm very careful at full length - but it's not really an issue until the last section is installed (and that's not usually necessary). A good unit and great value.

The pole saw is just as described. I have used it once so far and it worked well. The chain came off once I think that was because a small branch worked its way between the bar and the chain. The chain oiler seems to be working an the motor is nice and powerful. I have had trouble downloading the manual but I didn't have problems using the saw without the instructions.

i purchased a Baumr-AG pole chainsaw, it has been one of the best purchases i have made, very easy to use, starts first up every time, being able to adjust the pole length has been a huge bonus, no starining my back as the pole saw is one tool you can use while standing in a upright position, whether you are cutting above your head or below.
