We bought this for our daughter - she is a vegan and blends a LOT of fruit and vegetables, including frozen fruits. The machine is very powerful - much more so than the one we use ourselves and which cost a great deal more. It chops very finely and without effort. The pusher rod gets to all the corners of the bowl, meaning you get a good, consistent result. In terms of noise we don't find it any worse than our other blender - blenders are inherently noisy and this one is no worse than others. Overall, we're very happy with this unit - and for the price it can't be beaten.
