Great for home use. Follow instructions and it will start easily. Powerful. A bit of a blade wobble and be ready to buy a new blade as existing one does not last long at all. Real downside for me was the drive belt was to big and had to buy new one immediately to make it cut. They could have at least got that right. After replacing blade and belt I'm extremely happy with it considering YOU ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. My YES to " Is it of good quality?" Is good enough.

Too late to phone you I can’t contact you at all. It was delivered Thursday, I spent Friday morning preparing to do the job. Friday afternoon this happens and now we have the weekend lost. Out of the box filled with new fuel mixed 25:1. Choke on. Start switch on. Pull start cord. I have pulled on the start cord on and off 50 or more times. Giving it a rest in between in case it flooded. Nothing it won’t even try to fire. Is there something I’m not doing to make it start? I do own several other small engine machines and have no trouble starting any of them. I can see signs that it has been running at some stage it has been used, is it a dud that was returned to you and just sent out again and hope for the best.

I'm a professional concrete cutter (ICUT Concrete Sydney PTY LTD) and can compare this machine to the 14" Husqvarna K760 which is the best 14" petrol machine available and is similar in size but worth around $1350. This machine doesn't have a decompression valve which is not troublesome on other machines which makes it a bit hard to start and I doubt the starter cord system will last. The engine vibrates extremely heavily which transmits through the hands making it useless for a professional that uses power tools all day. The way the blade bolts on is extremely poorly made and the blade wobbles unless at full RPMs which makes it useless for 30mm expansion cutting in places a soft cut machine can't fit which is one reason I purchased it. The supplied blade I didn't bother trying as I can see it has little to no diamonds in it similar blades are worth around $39. The good news is this machine has a lot of power and can run at any angle which is more than I can say for the over priced Makitas and Stihls. It actually has almost the same power as the 760 which I was actually impressed with. Parts are not available for this machine either unlike a Husky which ANY part is available regardless of age and with no decompression valve and extremely harsh vibration I can't see it lasting long. I strongly suggest to stay away from this machine unless you don't care about having arthritis or it being useless after the warranty period.Read full review

Not so much for construction thou. I have been using it on a civil site cutting 450mm dicl (metal) pipe and it has been good but no where near the $2200 husqvarna's. Fit for purpose done a good job.

I found it easy to use. When cutting the cutter stays straight and does not require a lot of strength to hold it. The depth it cuts is great. Keep in mind safety first is paramount.

The concrete cutting saw was well packed and came with a good tool kit. The user manual was well written and easy to follow. The engine was easy to start and the saw worked exceptionally well, I suggest that water is essential unless you want to get covered in dust. I am extremely satisfied with this product.

We carry out many concrete paving repairs and a wet saw is essential. Yes we could buy the more established and very expensive saws but this time we decided to "go cheap". We bought the Baumr-AG concrete cut off saw from Edisons because we have had good response when a tool purchase has not performed as expected. The saw performs very well on short cuts of 1.2 metres at a time and I suspect the saw could carry out a larger and more rigorous workout. The cutting blade supplied lasted about 20 metres of cut to 100mm depth but to be honest for a unit that cost $275 the blade was okay. A new blade with far more cutting edge costs about $150 and added to the machines ability and performance. It is early days as yet but we have no reason to believe that if looked after and maintained and respected this machine will give us good service. When compared to the similar name brand machines we see no real difference in performance and feel that if it only lasted 12 months we could buy four of these and still be ahead! We have name brand units that have failed after a couple of years mainly due to lack of maintenance so the risk is the same but the Baumr-AG is such a competitive price that operator risk is one worth taking.Read full review

Took it out of the box , checked everything as per manual, put right fuel in, choke on, pull the chord 50-60 times .. it won't start at all.... Checked from start again everything , it won't start. Friday morning, tried again from scratch, after a long struggle and frustration finally able to start it. Started the cutting jog, it stopped mid way and I was not able to start it again.. Saturday morning, tried again and could not start it., ruined my Friday and weekend.. fuel is leaking too.. Not happy with the product. Will return it on Monday Bought from Edisons..

Not bad for a cheap concrete cutter, I was able to cut a 3x3m slab into small pieces and remove it so worked well and cheaper then hiring one for the weekend
