I would have been better to replace the whole unit. My existing mast would not come out of the sleeve which meant i had to remove the whole unit dismantle it and hammenr the old mast out. i then reassembled the unit and tried to load the new mast, The ferrule at the bottom of the mast was a fraction too big for the sleeve so i couldnt get that in without filing it down. The whole process took me 4 hours and therefore a complete unit would have been a lot more time and cost efficient.
