I use Milwaukee tools for my work, so needing charged batteries is a given. My genuine, 4-month old charger decided to retire itself between charges, so while I wait 8 weeks for Milwaukee to replace or repair my genuine charger, I had to act fast, in order to be able to keep working. These generic chargers certainly look the part, with the only thing missing being the Milwaukee logo. Charging times are the same, with 3Ah output on both genuine and this generic one, but the big BIG difference is in the price. For a little over $30, you get a charger that does everything that the $173 genuine article does. The batteries don't care where their charge comes from, and for the price, neither do I!

I've only had the charger and 5AH battery 2 days. The charger charged up an old battery and the new battery fine. The battery retaining clips seem a little flimsy so I don't expect it'll last as well as the original but the price is amazing so we'll see how it goes.
