Was dubious of head claims but needed a pump to get me out of trouble. Pulled recoil starter a few times to develop oil pressure and then hit ignition and fired and ran immediately. It took about 10 minutes to pump to an head of about 80m, 900m through 40mm poly pipe with 3 joiners and 2 right angles. Pumped about 2500 litres per tank of fuel; no doubt much more at lower head heights. Pretty impressive really. If you buy it do yourself a favour and install a second Or thicker cap seal as it’s inadequate. Remove the priming cap and line with thread lube or Vaseline as mine wouldn’t initially seal properly because the o-ring was pinching as it was tightening. Apply some thread lock to the supplied rubber feet or whack a spring washer in it. About the only other improvement I could suggest is to rubber mount the engine to the supplied frame as it has a fair amount of vibration. Certainly can’t complain about the quality of the pump, especially given the price. Read full review
