US based CyberPower manufactures very high quality UPSes. This model (one of three in the series) is a pure sine wave model. I was unable to find any reputable brand pure sine wave output UPS within similar price bracket. Another well known brand, APC, offers similar model at almost twice the price! The CyberPower PFC is very well made, and has six Aus standard sockets at the back. Free software provides full information about the UPS status, and full history log. Front panel LCD is very clear and provides comprehensive information, including power consumption and predicted time UPS can run devices with power failure. The LCD status panel turns itself off if no button is pressed for about 1min, which is great. The UPS is completely silent - a rear cooling fan activates only when there is no power and it runs on internal, user replaceable battery. Changeover to the battery power when external power fails is almost instantaneous, no external devices had any issues with it (I have about 10 sensitive devices connected - routers, modems, switches, NASes, etc). Green design means that the battery should last longer, and power consumption needed for internal battery top up is minimal. In summary: this is the best UPS I ever had (and I used many), and the price is very competitive. IMPORTANT (true for any UPS): NEVER connect a surge protected power board to any UPS output, and NEVER plug in any UPS box into a surge protected socket (Google for technical explanation why). If needed, use non surge protected power boards only!Read full review

This UPS is compact (like a very small PC tower) and finished to a really high standard. The unit is really easy to install and operate and the software (which you download - it isn't missing from the box!) is easy to use and has a heap of features. The main reason for my review is to offer some idea just how long the unit will power your PC. I have a 27" HP Pavilion all-in-one with touch screen - power supply is 150w - and the software suggests I will achieve around 2 hrs of battery run-time. I know this may not be totally accurate, but if your looking for a unit that will give you at least an hour of standby power, I would recommend this UPS without reservation. We've had a couple of short power outages since installing the UPS, and it performed faultlessly - no interruption whatsoever. I had considered a smaller, cheaper unit, but have no regrets spending a little more to get a UPS that is totally up to the task.Read full review

I've been using this UPS for a year now, and satisfied with the performance. About 10 iot devices connected, 2 IP cameras, and a PC. Tested running UPS without the PC on, only the iot devices, and IP cameras, so far the UPS lasted at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before it reached 20% of remaining battery power. I'll be buying another one soon. If the UPS battery or unit last at least 4 years, I would be happy. Draining the battery to 20% at least once every 3 months. Highly recommended UPS.

Good compact size but with large capacity, lots of plugs and seeming it will give me easily over 30 mins with my laptop (MBP16) and desktop display in use. As predicted the software (on Mac) is a bit clunky, however basic UPS status is supported natively by MacOS so not a major issue, and front panel display on the UPS provides plenty of other info. Overall quite happy and great value!

Delivers what it promises. Just need a volume control for the start up and shut down beeps. A wee bit too loud. Also for those unfamiliar, the battery will slowly drain even when your devices are on standby.
