Pretty simple to open up once you realize how. Only thing is if your putting a small breed dog the opening maybe a little high at the bottom. There's two doors which is great training for them to be comfortable inside before closing completely. The tray is a little wobbly but that's fine I put his bed inside and it weighed it down a little. The size I feel may be good for a dog u see 30lbs based on dimensions. I have a Chihuahua in there and he has room for his bed and then a small spot next to him for either a toy or his water bowl. Just some metal components pare bent into a slightly off position so you have to jimmy it to get it where you want it. One being a part to opening one of the doors and when first opening up the cage a part you unhook to release the cage was jammed. After I figured it out all is well.Read full review

I'm returning it because: 1) It was supposed to be new, but was used; 2) One of the brackets used to hold it in place came off during unpacking; 3) It looked stainless steel or chrome, but was spray painted because it came off on my hands while I was putting it together; 4) The metal is poor quality, both front and side door latches don't line up. It was nice to look at and had a nice price, but the product just isn't what I expected.
