Sangean DT-250 Pocket Radio with Speaker & Earphones (supplied)
Just an excellent small pocket radio for AM / FM reception so you can take it to the football or cricket and listen live with no delay. (DAB+ digital radio is around 5 seconds latency behind real time). Excellent listening via with supplied earphones or your own if you wish. Like the digital screen and "lock" feature on the radio to stop any accidental changing of the station. Can be used without earphones but being a pocket radio it only has a small speaker but even then it works very well for what it is designed for. If you want a boom box then buy one of those instead ! This works well and functions exactly for what it is designed to do. Highly recommended as a pocket radio with headphones.

excellent reception capabilities
excellent hand held radio receives distant AM stations superbly, same with FM reception a quality built radio, audio is a bit scratchy but what else can one expect when you consider the size of the inbuilt speaker, obviously this is overcome by using headphones, overall though a great little radio for the price with good battery life.

Hi, the sound for its size is excellent, my wife uses it at work using the clip on to her belt which she likes. I use it outdoors and find it a better way than our larger type we have to turn up to hear in the backyard.

Great Little Pocket Stereo
My old pocket radio was years old and required replacement,so after much research decided on this radio. Great little transistor radio,station lock,back light,great sound,and plenty of stations to put in the memory,and is a one touch to scroll to a station ,I did fit different headphones though,Skull Candy over ear they work well. I am very pleased with my Sangean DT-250.

Lightweight with great features
I have found the Sangean DT-250 to be the best portable analogue radio I have used to date. It has excellent fringe area reception. I have found it easy to use and the ease of tuning using the up and down buttons a treat. Also the selection of AM and FM could not be easier. The Operating Instruction manual is very easy to follow with clear and easily understood instructions. The LCD display is large and displays uncluttered configuration of the DT-250. The memory tuning functions are simple and I found the Memory Tuning a great feature and easy to use. This is a pocket radio for life
